This year Dominic has his sights set on winning a clay cup championship again, along with being on top of the podium in every event he enters.
Racing With Health Challenges
In 2015, Dominic Carter was diagnosed with Severe Pediatric Crohn’s Disease and then in 2018 Dominic discovered he also had CRMO (chronic nonbacterial osteomyelitis). Crohn’s Disease is an autoimmune disease that attacks the intestines and CRMO is an autoinflammatory disease that attacks the bones and bone marrow.
Despite the many difficulties these diseases cause, Dominc has refused to let them define what he can and can’t do. Instead, he has used it to fuel his desire to set and then surpas many goals in his life.
Giving Back to the Community
Dominic volunteers at his local food bank and elementary school where he participates in the kindergarten buddy program.
When not racing, Dominic also loves to mentor younger drivers at the race track.
“My goal is to be better every single time I am
on the track until I am the best”
– Dominic Carter
